State Executive Committee Members

Duties of the State Committee member.

State Committeepersons represent Palm Beach County on the Florida Democratic Party State Executive Committee (SEC) and act as liaisons between the FDP and the PBC Democratic Party. 

In the performance of their duties, State Committeepersons are expected to attend multiple official meetings of the FDP SEC held annually in-person throughout the state and electronically via Zoom. Committeepersons should be aware that expenses for travel, hotel, & meals for in-person SEC meetings are not reimbursed by the state or county parties.

Additional State Committeeperson responsibilities include acting as liaisons with Democratic Clubs in Palm Beach County and assisting in their certification and/or recertification.  State Committeepersons also are expected to assist the County Chair in raising funds for the PBC Democratic Party.
